Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
When she was initially inspired by the shadows she observed on the grass of the trees, she worked for months to develop a technique which did not depict an object as a two-dimensional image. This way, the object is turned into a representation of the subject. This is particularly true with living objects as well as those that are likely to perish for example, like fruits or human beings. Alexa Meade's style of painting, which is very ephemeral in the sense that it is amorphous, transparent. The only thing of her art to survive is the photo. The painting and the photographic techniques are so tightly coordinated that the end result is nothing but a two-dimensional flat space that achieves trompe l'oeil. The third dimension is only visible in specific areas like near the eyes or hair. At times, Meade integrates her painted models into the three-dimensional world around them, allowing them to engage with this self-created world. The result is a blurring of the lines between photography, painting, and installation.
