Lis Wiehl was born August 19, 1962 and is a former Fox News legal analyst.
She previously served as an assistant professor of Law in the University of Washington Law School. She's provided legal commentaries for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She appeared weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. the Imus morning programs as well as hosts the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl, who was born and raised in Yakima located in Washington State, graduated in Yakima from West Valley High School. She graduated with a bachelor's diploma in English from Barnard College in 1983, a Master of Arts in Literature at the University of Queensland in 1985 as well as the Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl was a prosecutor at the US Attorney's office. She was a NPR legal correspondent. She served as "the deputy chief investigative counsel for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee during Clinton's impeachment." From 1995 until 2001, she was a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle and was in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program. The analyst was with Fox News from 2001 until the year 2017.
